Natasha Straley - Director, Producer

Her work focuses on both comedic and dramatic narrative films exploring the dark underbelly of the human condition, diving into uncomfortable nuances of behaviors and relationships. She is driven by screenplays which push boundaries and examine the grey area between right and wrong.

She has directed several short films, which have screened at festivals across the country. She is currently working on her first feature, SIDESTEP, after receiving a grant from the San Antonio Film Commission. She was also awarded the Michelle Mower Female Filmmaker of the Year Award from Austin Revolution Film Festival, 2018. 

​Lara Britton - Writer, Producer, Assistant Director

Lara Britton is a freelance writer and producer who has worked in various positions both in front of and behind the camera. A classically trained pianist and opera singer, she has a long history of performing and creative successes. Her time in Austin has led to a career acting on screen and developing film projects. In addition, she has been an active volunteer and reader with the Austin Film Festival for over ten years. 

Other endeavours include producing and acting in the short film Muerte, which was an official selection at the 2018 Austin Film Festival and 2019 Hill Country Film Festival, among others. She has several works in various stages of development and pre-production.
​​​ Val Frazee - "Joan", Writer, Producer

​Val Frazee is a writer, actress, and hair stylist. Originally from Las Vegas, NV, she is now a resident of the greater Austin area. She has published one novel and is currently working on her second. She has been featured in film, television, and stage, When she's not acting she is working at Sweet 101 Salon (located in the Blue Lion Salon Studios in Cedar Park)

Taylor Hagan - Producer

Taylor is an owner of the production company, AirSpeed Videos (formerly Point1Productions). His company began focused on EPK packages for shows such as Friday Night Lights, This Is Us, Revolution, American Crime, Kevin (probably) Saves The World, in addition to several pilots including Trooper.

His company now focuses on marketing and production solutions with clients such as the San Antonio Spurs, HEB, University of Texas at San Antonio, as well as several small business and local non-profits.

LaVar Veale - "Officer Mitch"​

LaVar Veale is an American actor who was raised in San Antonio, Texas. He caught the acting bug in 7th grade when Nickelodeon was having auditions for its teen soap opera “Fifteen”.  Focusing on football in college at TCU, it didn’t take long for the theatre department notice him.  LaVar was cast in the role of Angus in Macbeth and his passion for acting was reignited.

While at TCU, LaVar starred in over five plays and a soap opera that aired on the campus television station. LaVar starred in numerous plays at Ft. Worth’s Jubilee Theatre including the role of Romeo in the production of Romeo and Juliet. After graduating from TCU in 2002 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre/TV, LaVar continued to pursue his dreams of acting in Dallas, Los Angeles and now San Antonio. LaVar has  performed in National and Local Commercials, Independent Films and Industrials. ​
Jeannie Carter - "Officer Steph"

Born and raised in Laredo, Texas, Jeannie had a dream to become an actor. It wasn't until she moved to Austin, Texas that her dream slowly started to become a reality. Austin was a good fortune for Jeannie! She met and fell in love with a musician and eventually they married.

Jeannie has been consistently acting since 2010. In 2013 she signed with Acclaim Talent. Since then she has established herself as a strong and talented actress.
